Sibelius Monument – Helsinki – morning of 10 June 2011

This time, we are quite near Hietaniemi Beach, or Hietsu as people call it here. A park, the Baltic, the Sibelius monument, the view to the islands of Western Helsinki.

Morning run to the beach or to the harbor. Intervals (following The Guardian’s tips for fitness). Warmth. People reading on the beach at 7 in the morning, or playing volleyball. Quietly sun-bathing, almost naked some.

Then back to our place to work in math (or MC, in her Art History).

This afternoon, to Pori to see the opening of Goldsworthy’s exhibition.
