as seen from a bicycle

Caracas Ave
On a bicycle, from the Parkway to Chapinero. Here, the corner of 53rd Street and 9th Ave.

Well, Bogotá is many different things to many different people. I for one find it unpleasant to drive (except at night on Circunvalar, or early morning on Sunday). However, riding a bicycle through some of the side streets is amusing and nice.

Here, if you want to ride along, roughly from the Parkway to Chapinero. In the video, the ride takes just under two and a half minutes. In real life, the ride is perhaps done in about 20 minutes.

The only parts with many cars in the ride are when crossing three avenues: Caracas, 13th and 7th. Otherwise, little traffic and side streets.

Enjoy the ride, with the sounds of Monsieur Periné (Huracán).
